Responsibilities
- Channel Expansion & Capability Building
- Prioritize direct partnerships with global and local financial institutions, card schemes, settlement banks, and leading fintech companies, establishing reliable and scalable fiat infrastructure;
- Maintain and refine the existing PSP network as a foundational layer of our fiat capabilities. While no longer the core focus, PSPs remain critical for operational coverage;
- Lead end-to-end onboarding processes including due diligence, commercial negotiations, regulatory review, technical integration, testing, and go-live optimization;
- Continuously improve the core fiat channels in terms of user experience, transaction success rate, cost structure, reliability, and settlement efficiency.
- Market Transformation & Payment Model Innovation
- Support the development of country-level strategic roadmaps to evolve from P2P-driven to P2P + Fiat dual-engine markets, with clear transformation goals and intermediary KPIs;
- Identify and promote suitable payment model innovations per market context, such as open banking frameworks, wallet-to-wallet rails, or stablecoin-to-fiat settlement pathways;
- Collaborate closely with local P2P teams to design phased transformation plans that safeguard liquidity and user continuity during rollout;
- Partner with product teams to test and refine new payment flows, driving better conversion, broader channel adoption, and lower friction in the user journey.
Requirements
- Bachelorās degree or above, preferably in Finance, Business, or Law.
- 10+ years of total professional experience, with at least 3 years in payments, fintech, crypto, or cross-border business development.
- Strong understanding of local PSPs, card schemes, and payment ecosystem players in APAC.
- Fluency in English is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders. Additional languages would be an advantage.
- Proven ability to drive partnerships from 0 to 1 and see them through to operational scale.
- Strong business judgment and execution mindset ā thrives in a hands-on, fast-moving environment.
- Collaborative and structured communicator with the ability to align stakeholders across product, compliance, legal, and tech.
- Interest in the crypto space and willingness to learn about new paradigms in finance and infrastructure.
