Responsibilities
- Oversee daily on/off ramp channel operations, ensuring smooth functioning and optimal conversion rates across payment methods and fiat pairs in targeted markets
- Drive and manage P2P platform growth, including new and active users, liquidity, order success rates and disputes.
- Collaborate closely with product, risk, compliance, customer support, and local teams to maintain operational efficiency and controlled risk levels.
- Adequate understanding of the local market to independently navigate regulatory environments through cross team collaboration to ensure compliance and support expansion of fiat on/off-ramp capabilities.
- Monitor key indicators such as spread competitiveness, success rate, completion rate, cancellations, and fraud patterns.
- Analyze market trends, pricing dynamics, payment methods, and competitive landscape across markets.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and leverage data insights to propose and implement improvements in workflows, user experience, and channel performance.
- Manage merchant ecosystem development including onboarding, performance monitoring, incentive programs, and quality assurance.
- Coordinate operational workflows such as merchant vetting, transaction monitoring, quality reviews, and policy enforcement to uphold channel integrity.
- Monitor key performance indicators including liquidity balance, spread competitiveness, transaction success rates, cancellations, and fraud patterns.
- Provide actionable business insights to internal teams to inform strategy, product roadmap, and market expansion plans.
- Product mindset to collaborate effectively with product teams on feature enhancements and local rollouts.
- Partner with marketing and community teams to support regional campaigns, payment method adoption, and user education initiatives.
- Collaborate with customer support and dispute resolution teams to ensure timely and effective handling of user issues.
Requirements
- Bachelorās degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in crypto exchanges, fintech, banking, or payment platforms.
- Strong understanding of fiat payment channels and on/off-ramp mechanisms across multiple markets.
- Strong understanding of crypto landscape, particularly across APAC, including major markets, regulations and user behaviors.
- Data-driven approach with the ability to analyze performance metrics and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with attention to detail and a sense of ownership.
- Fluency in English is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders. At least one additional language is a must i.e. Vietnamese or Bahasa Indonesia
Nice To Have
- Previous experience with merchant management in a payments or P2P environment.
- Familiarity with anti-fraud methods, transaction monitoring, or operational risk frameworks.
- Knowledge of crypto compliance practices in major APAC jurisdictions.
- Passion for blockchain, financial inclusion, and decentralized technologies.
