We’re looking for a Social Account Manager to lead social strategy, client communications, and cross-functional execution across high-impact Web3 accounts.

You’ll be the strategic brain behind the social presence of the industry’s top teams — shaping narratives, guiding creative, and bringing campaigns to life across X, TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms.

This role is for a crypto-native operator with a strong strategic mind, excellent communication skills, and deep familiarity with Web3 culture.

Role Overview

The Social Account Manager is the client-facing and strategic lead responsible for turning marketing objectives into clear social strategies, content calendars, and measurable results.

You’ll direct the full social account team — Producer, Coordinator, Creative, Engagement — to ensure all content is aligned with strategy, delivered on time, and optimized for performance. While you don’t directly manage staff you do lead the workflow and vision for your accounts.

You’ll work across 3–4 accounts (a mix of large and small), partnering with internal strategists, creatives, and PMs to deliver world-class social execution.

What You’ll Do

Lead Social Strategy & Narrative Direction

  • Own monthly and quarterly social strategies including content pillars, audience profiles, narrative arcs, and platform mix.
  • Develop weekly sprints and content themes aligned with product updates, market trends, and client objectives.
  • Ensure all content follows the right tone, voice, and brand direction for Web3 audiences.

Own the Content Calendar

  • Build and manage the 30-day rolling content calendar (always 2 weeks ahead).
  • Create strategy briefs for creative and production teams (audience, CTA, messaging, examples).
  • Approve content for strategic alignment before it goes to the client.

Be the Primary Client Contact

  • Lead weekly client meetings, present strategy, insights, content previews, and performance updates.
  • Translate client goals into actionable plans and social experiments.
  • Strengthen trust and establish Phoenix as a strategic partner.

Direct Internal Teams for Execution

Coordinate workflows and priorities across:

  • Social Producer (copywriting, creative briefs, storytelling)
  • Social Coordinator (scheduling, reporting, QA)
  • Creative Manager + designers/video editors
  • Engagement Team (reply guy + targeted outreach)
  • Project Manager (timelines, tasks, deadlines)

You provide direction — the team executes.

Guide Engagement Strategy

  • Provide narrative direction for reply-guy and engagement activity.
  • Identify high-value accounts, influencers, and conversations to engage with.
  • Ensure engagement aligns with client tone and performance goals.

Lead Reporting & Optimization

  • Own monthly performance reporting and client presentation.
  • Analyze performance using Looker, Hootsuite, and native analytics.
  • Recommend experiments: new formats, hooks, angles, posting times, and trends.
  • Continuously refine strategy based on results.

What You Bring

  • 3–6+ years in social strategy, account management, or content planning (Web3 experience required).
  • Deep familiarity with X (Crypto Twitter), TikTok, IG Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Web3 culture.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to turn complex information into clear content direction.
  • Experience leading or directing creative and content teams (not necessarily managed, but guiding).
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple accounts smoothly.
  • Ability to understand analytics and turn insights into actionable strategy.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with Hootsuite (or similar), Notion, Look Studio
  • Familiarity with storytelling frameworks, brand voice development, or creative direction
  • Experience in a fast-paced agency or multi-account environment
