Role Overview
We are seeking a Marketing Associate, Social Media to work under the guidance of our Marketing Lead to drive and shape Trojan Tradingās social media strategy across X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and other social channels. This role will own the creation of engaging content (e.g. posts, memes, infographics, threads, videos) that sparks discussions in addition to amplifying Trojan Tradingās presence across social media by working with KOL, communities, and other key players and engaging with their content. To be effective in this role, you must be a captivating storyteller and also be able to stay ahead of trends in the Solana ecosystem and the trenches.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy: work with Marketing team to shape the social strategy across twitter, IG, Tiktok and other social channels
- Content Creation: Create engaging content, posts, memes, infographics, threads, videos, and insights that spark discussions.
- KOL and Community Engagement: Work with KOLs and communitiesāidentify key players, engage with their content, and amplify Trojans presence
- Trendsetter: Stay ahead of trends in the Solana ecosystem and the trenches
- Engagement: Engage in real-timeāquote, reply, and be part of conversations, not just a spectator.
- Storytelling: Tell great storiesāturn complex topics into digestible, shareable content that educates and engages including video content
Requirements
- Experience working within the Solana ecosystem, with a strong understanding of its projects, community, and market dynamics.
- 1-3 years of experience in crypto marketing or a related field, with a portfolio of successful campaigns.
- Proficiency in using marketing tools and platforms, including social media analytics and content scheduling tools.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create clear and engaging content for a variety of audiences.
- Past experience successfully engaging with KOLs and influencers in the memecoin and/or blockchain space
- Proficiency around building successful profiles on TikTok, X/Twitter, and other social media platforms around web3, Solana, memecoins, and the crypto space, in general
- Experience around memecoin advisory activities (huge plus)

Compensation/Culture
The overall market range for roles at Trojan Trading is typically $100k - $350k annually. This market range is based on total compensation. Trojan Trading has a culture that values meritocracy, personal growth, and an ego-free environment.
